Overview

Attendance Tracker ("the App") is a Google Meet add-on that helps meeting organizers track participant attendance and export reports to Google Sheets. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Data We Collect

• Google account information: Your name, email address, and Google Workspace domain (obtained via Google Sign-In).
• Meeting data: Conference IDs, participant names, join/leave times, and session counts (obtained via the Google Meet REST API).
• Calendar data: Event titles and attendee lists for meetings you organize (obtained via the Google Calendar API).
• Authentication tokens: OAuth refresh tokens (encrypted at rest) to maintain your session.

How We Use Your Data

• Display real-time attendance in the Meet side panel.
• Export attendance reports to Google Sheets in your Google Drive.
• Match meeting participants to calendar invitees for RSVP status and no-show tracking.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Data Storage

• Meeting and user data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, isolated by your organization's domain.
• Refresh tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage.
• All data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in the US (us-central1 region).

Data Retention

• Meeting attendance data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• When you uninstall the App, your data is deleted within 30 days.
• You can request immediate data deletion by contacting us.

Google API Scopes

The App requests the following Google API scopes:

• meetings.space.readonly — View participant information for meetings you have access to.
• calendar.events.readonly — View calendar events to match attendees and RSVP status.
• spreadsheets — Create and update attendance report spreadsheets.
• drive.file — Create a folder in your Drive to organize exported reports.

Your Rights

• You can revoke the App's access at any time via Google Account Permissions.
• You can request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted tokens at rest, and Google Cloud's built-in security infrastructure.
